RAIN DATE: The Jack Artrip/Jim Earls memorial apple butter day, which was rained out last Saturday, will be Saturday, Nov. 7, at the corner of Depot and Main streets in Barboursville. Regular and no-sugar-added apple butter will be available by late afternoon for $6 a pint and $8 a quart.

ART: Two art exhibiters' names -- Portia Warner and Gabby Hammers -- were left off the list of The Praise Painters who are exhibiting their artwork from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at Christ the King Lutheran Church. Everyone is welcome.

SANDWICH SALE: The Catholic Daughters of the Americas will have its annual sub-sandwich sale from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. Nov. 12 at the St. Joseph's Church parish hall on 6th Avenue, Huntington. The sandwiches, $4 each, include ham, salami, cheeses, lettuce, tomato and onion or tuna salad, lettuce and tomato. Proceeds will fund scholarships for students at St. Joseph Central High School, St. Joseph Grade School and Our Lady of Fatima Grade School. CONCERT: You still have an opportunity to hear the Musical Arts Guild's fall show, Seasons of Song, at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, at the Huntington Museum of Art. The show is free, and winners of three annual scholarships will be announced.

GAME NIGHT: Pea Ridge United Methodist Church, 5747 Pea Ridge Road, hosts a family game event from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6. Board game players are encouraged to bring their favorite games and share an evening of fun. Call 304-736-3565 for more information.

BAZAAR: The Lighthouse Baptist Church in Milton has its fourth annual holiday bazaar from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7. A light lunch with homemade desserts will be available as well as crafts, baked goods and holiday decor.

DINNER: The Walnut Hills ACTION team will have its annual fundraising dinner at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 10, at the IOOF Lodge Hall, 530 Roby Road. Everyone who attends is asked to bring a covered dish and a $6 donation per person ($15 for a family of three or more).
